Thank You. We are consciously committed to meeting the vast needs of our diverse and growing immigrant community in Lake County. Our services focus on securing equal rights and opportunities for these individuals by providing a full spectrum of services which cover the individuals and families throughout their successful lives in the United States.

DACA scholarships granted to dreamers to help pay the $495 renewal fee totaling $121,275 in funds distribution

Individuals were connected to public and community benefits, and resources

Hours volunteered by Parent Mentors in three Waukegan Elementary Schools

We welcome immigrants from every country.

When our clients step in our building, many of them are taking the first step in becoming vibrant, participating members of the community. Despite the obstacles presented by the pandemic, HACES continued to fulfill its mission last fiscal year and served over 7,500 people!

We're investing in future.

HACES is proud to offer the Parent Mentor Program, which teaches parents how to strengthen the skills they need to support their children by actively participating in their child’s classroom. Building strong ties between teachers, parents, students, and the school community helps to ensure the student’s immediate and long-term success.

We're building community,

Our programs guide applicants, assist families, and help them advocate for services that may help them overcome economic hardship.
